This policy explains what information Jason Hyams (“we,” “us”) collects through jasonhyams.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Jason Hyams is part of the TEXREI family of Houston companies, which includes King Tide Investments, Local Houston Builder, KTI Homes, and NextGen Home Solutions.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form or email us, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, phone number, and message, plus any details a particular form asks for (for example, the kind of project or partnership you are asking about). Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank details, or medical information through this site.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical details for each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time. We use these logs for security and troubleshooting and keep them for about two weeks.
• Spam and bot protection. Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser and device signals to tell people from automated traffic. We also keep a one-way, coded version of your IP address with each form submission to limit abuse.
• Cookies and analytics. The site works without tracking cookies. If we turn on analytics or advertising measurement (such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel), those tools load only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

How we use information

• To answer your questions and follow up on your request.
• To respond to project, partnership, or investor-access requests and to send updates you ask for.
• To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and understand how the site is used.
• To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies’ advertising.

Who we share it with

• Our related companies within the TEXREI family, when they are the right team to answer you (for example, a rental question sent to the property manager).
• Service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, such as web hosting and email delivery (Amazon Web Services) and spam protection (Cloudflare). They may use the information only to provide those services.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our residents, customers, visitors, or companies.
• In a business transfer, such as a sale or reorganization of the company that owns this site, under the same protections described here.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and for ordinary business records, generally no more than two years after our last contact with you, unless a lease, contract, or law requires longer. Server logs are kept for about two weeks.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to inquiries to the people who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

• You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailinginfo@texrei.com. We will respond within 45 days.
• You can unsubscribe from any marketing email we send by using the link in it or by replying to us.
• Depending on where you live (including Texas), you may have additional privacy rights. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
• We respect browser Global Privacy Control signals by treating them as a choice to decline optional analytics and advertising tools.

Children

This site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and the current version always applies.
